Jack
Jack is my newly rescued 6 month old puppy. He was recently diagnosed with Diabetes Mellitus. Unfortunately, because of this late diagnoses and the fact that his insulin levels were unchecked and untreated for so long, Jack is suffering from Diabetic Ketoacidosis. He is in imminent danger of falling into a coma at any moment and subsequently dying. I want to get him emergency treatment which entails 24 hour hospitalization and every hour intravenous fluids and insulin. After the initial treatment he will be fine enough to receive daily insulin injections. But without the initial hospitalization he will die. Unfortunately it would cost me well over $1500 for the initial treatment and I just don't have that sort of money to spare. Please help with whatever you can. I want Jack to live a long and healthy life, with his diabetes in check.
